Alewyn is a director in our Pretoria litigation department. He began his articles at Tim Du Toit in 2008 and was appointed as a director of the firm in 2013.
Alewyn has extensive knowledge of banking and financial services law. He is highly experienced in litigation matters in the agricultural sector, where he represents some of the leading corporates in that field. His expertise extends from banking and corporate litigation to insolvency, construction, evictions, land related matters, family law, criminal law, contractual and general litigation disputes.
Alewyn also prepares and provides advice on corporate and commercial agreements, including the drafting of shareholder agreements, MOI’s, share subscription agreements, among others. In addition to the above, Alewyn excels at mitigating litigation risk, which enables him to deliver strategic dispute advice. He holds a BComm Law, LLB and a Master’s degree with specialization in Corporate Law from the University of Pretoria.
