Karin Stoffberg

Director

Karin has a BProc Degree and is a specialist litigator, leading one of the civil litigation departments in the Pretoria office. She studied at the University of Pretoria and was admitted as an attorney in 1997.

Karin joined Tim du Toit in 1997 and was appointed as a director in 2003. She has extensive experience in all dispute resolution forums, including arbitrations and insolvency enquiries. She has a successful track record litigating in the High Courts, Labour Court, as well as the Supreme Court of Appeal. Her skills and acumen extend to commercial litigation, evictions and land related rights, law of succession and trusts, as well as forensic litigation in the field of payment instruments and the wider ambit of banking and financial services. Karin also attends to the drafting of contracts and matters relating to individual and collective labour law, family law and delictual claims.
