SENIOR ASSOCIATE (Attorney | LLB)

Kirchna Spandeel joined Tim du Toit Attorneys, Cape Town in May 2026 as a Senior Associate. She obtained her LLB degree from Nelson Mandela University in 2018, completed her articles in Gqeberha and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2020 in Makhanda. She also holds the right of appearance in the High Court.

Kirchna currently oversees and manages the firm’s Defended Litigation Department, acting on behalf of financial institutions, with a particular focus on financial recoveries and credit-related litigation. She has extensive knowledge of the National Credit Act, an area in which her passion developed during her articles while managing a dedicated Debt Review Department.

She remains actively involved in litigation and occasionally appears in court herself, including matters before the High Court. Her experience and specialised knowledge enable her to provide clients with practical, strategic and effective legal representation.
